Lip gloss could totally revolutionize women’s curling!! This Winter Olympics I’ve become fascinated with curling—in case you haven’t heard of it, curling is a team sport in which heavy polished stones are thrust down a smooth sheet of ice, towards a circular target. Some people describe it as shuffleboard on ice. Sounds exciting huh? Okay, you’re right maybe it isn’t… but it could be, if the ladies popped on a little lip gloss!! Curling is one of the few sports that allows you to to “preserve your sexy”. When you’re playing this game you don’t get “sports face”!!!

Unlike many other sports, you can look cool when you curl –In fact you COULD look HOT !!!
All it would take is a little bit of lip gloss, and women’s curling could be just as popular as women’s volleyball!!! Gloss up girls!!!

Wheeew, this week was pretty hectic!!! I announced the winner to The CUPID CAN KISS IT Valentine’s contest, in which one lucky reader won a date with me and Gregg Giannillo to have her hair and makeup done before she hit the town with her actual V-Day date!! In other news!! It was New York Fashion Week and I got to work on Project Runway winner Irina Shabayeva’s show. Amazing clothes!!! The collection was about the freedom of flight. A lot of the pieces had hand painted feathers. Gorgeous!!! I would love to own this collection. Here are a few shots of some of the models that I worked on at the show:
Order in the court!!! It’s MUGSHOT MONDAY, the day that beauty violators are brought to justice!! I met Stephanie on a cold Saturday afternoon. She was quiet, sweet and had amazing jewelry!! The challenge for me was to make her sparkle as much as her baubles!

Stephanie’s skin was prepped with a soothing moisturizer
a touch of red neutralizing concealer was used to balance skin tone
Neutral lip liner outlines the lips
A couple coats of mascara were added to give her eyes a boost

First I prepped the skin with an ultra creamy moisturizer
Brows were filled in and shaped with brow powder
Cream concealer was used under the eyes to counteract darkness
White liner was used to rim the eyes
Nars Alabaster was used to bring added sparkle to the eyes

I’m sure that Cupid has an arrow with my name on it, but he refuses to shoot the darn thing!!! Frankly, Cupid can kiss my @#$!!! This year in rebellion, I’m planning my own Valentine’s Day date of sorts!!! I’m planning a date with you!! Yes, I know, you’ve already made plans!!! That’s precisely why I want to have a date with you before YOUR date. I’m giving one lucky winner the opportunity to have her makeup done before her Valentine’s date!!!
