MUGSHOT MONDAY

Order in the court, it’s MUGSHOT MONDAY, the day that beauty violators are brought to justice!! This week we’re featuring Portia.  When I met Portia, I knew that I wanted to give her a layered nude effect that would bring out her skin tone.  We decided to play with textures and sheen to keep her looking youthful and fresh, while adding some ooomphhh!

Check out Portia’s rap sheet:

  • First I groomed her brows
  • I used a heavy cream moisturizer to prep the skin
  • I used liquid foundation mixed with golden highlighter on skin
  • A tiny bit of creamy concealer was used in the under eye area
  • Nars Laguna bronzer was used on cheekbones and hairline
  • Sheer golden gloss was used on the lips
  • A pair of strip lashes were added to emphasize eyes

Quick tip: If your body is tan , make sure that your foundation on the outer regions of your face matches your neck and arms.  Or use a bronzer to even out your skin.

i absolutely love the transitions you’ve made with each face! Your colour selections for each face are extremely well suited to what you were given to work with and 1 great thing you’ve kept constant is the addition of radiance/glow for each client. I think this is what really brings the make-up together perfectly:) i look forward to seeing more of your work, im studying make-up artistry at the mo so im fully appreciating the amazing combinations with colour! keep well
