MUGSHOT MONDAY

It’s MUGSHOT MONDAY, the day that beauty violators are brought to justice!!  Sometimes I work for food!!!  I met Morgan in the hallway of my building, and had the pleasure of doing her makeup for MUGSHOT MONDAY.  As a thank you, she invited me to her home for a lovely dinner.

Check out Morgan’s rap sheet:

  • Morgan’s skin was prepped with moisturizer
  • Eyelashes were curled with eyecurl 2
  • Minimal makeup was used to even out skin tone
  • Brows were filled in with brow powder
  • Makeup was set with a sheer veil of translucent powder

Makeup makes me happy!!!

  1. Okay, so I’ve been meaning to ask you this for a while now….give me the straight up honest answer on this one:

How often should we be washing our brushes?

Can I use Johnsons & Johnsons baby no tears shampoo to wash them? (because, uh, I already am…and it seems to work fine)

What’s the difference(s) between using sponges and brushes?

Why, when I get my makeup done for weddings are they using Q-tips on me with success, but when I use them at home I end up looking like someone T-P’d me in my sleep? all the fuzzy stuff comes off on my face, or pulls all the make up off instead of blending.

That’s all for now, I figure that’s enough for one post!

    Hugs!

    Siiri

PS: could you also please answer the following in a separate, Spring/Summer prep post:

For us girls with LOTS of freckles that appear mostly in Spring and Summer, which is our best bet for even coverage, weightless feel for foundation? Powder or cream? and any recco’s among either?
