Carla’s Question: I just got engaged(!) and was wondering if you could recommend the ultimate, waterproof?, longlasting, makeup essentials for the big day. Don’t want to look like a hot mess towards the end of the night. ..or do I?
Answer: There are quite a few waterproof products out there that are awesome. I love Makeup Forever’s Aqua Eyes liners for weddings. Couple that with your favorite waterproof mascara and you won’t have to worry about those dreaded runny eyes!!! Uuughh ohhh, I’m probably gonna sound like a commercial, but Makeup Forever also has a great waterproof foundation called mat velvet matifying foundation, it’s a budge-proof formula that gives the skin a velvety matte finish. After the makeup is completed, I like to spray Ben Nye’s Final Seal or Kryolan’s Fixer Spray, over the face. Both of these sprays extend the life of the makeup and will prevent you from looking like a hot mess by the end of the night!!
